Ambrosio's scene name originates from the title character of The Monk , a classic Gothic novel by M. G. Lewis about an evil Monk with a innocent appearance and pristine reputation. In his public life, Ambrosio is a single white male in his early fourties recently relocated to central Kentucky from central Texas. He's been in the BDSM scene since approximately 1994 and active since about 1995. He's known as sensual top with dominant tendencies but he also practices more heavy play (with the right play partners.) He founded SAS/M in 1996 and San Antonio Dominant's Dinner in 2001. He is a member of GWNN, National Leather Association: Austin, National Leather Association International, SASSY, DDCT, Paradox, and KUFS. He also attends the Louisville Munch regularly. In June of 2005 he joined the board of KUFS. He runs "Ambrosio's BDSM News" mailing list, co-moderates the BDSM San Antonio mailing list, teaches BDSM classes, and maintains Ambrosio's BDSM Site. Hobbies include reading, writing, acting, web development, ballroom dancing, and Safe, Sane, and Consensual BDSM.

Leather, just the sound of the word gives a sense of the sensual power of treated skins. As a teen Archer started working with leather, the smell and feel of it had some primal effect on him. Even then the power images of leather had a part in his sexual fantasies, but the images of abuse held him back from exploring them. Leatherwork went by the wayside when he graduated and then went to Marion Military Institute and earned a Commission in the Army Reserve. His love of working with leather returned years later. That, along with the sensual images of his youth, led him to begin in Dallas, Texas in 1996 what he expect to be a life-long exploration of BDSM.

Archer’s relationship with his slave elegant started in September of 1999 and prompted him to get more involved with the leather community. He is a member of The Tribe, CAPE, MasT-Atlanta, NLA-International and continues his membership with NLA-Dallas because it is his birthplace of leather. Archer is an Environmental Scientist and ‘out’ to his employer. Since moving to Atlanta in the summer of 2002 Archer has also been working to expand his leather and toy business, Fantasies In Leather. He provides educational experiences to groups large and small on subjects ranging from Fireplay and Microbondage to Exploring Your Leather Identity and Florentine Flogging. His dedication to the community and specifically in lifestyle education is leading him to new experiences.

ELEGANT
Southeast Bootblack 2005

Elegant began her leather journey in Dallas, Texas and has been an active part of the Atlanta community since moving in 2001. She does not like being identified with a single label, as her identity is a blending of her life. She is slave to Master Archer, mother to two pre-teens, PTA volunteer, leather crafter, bootblack, Group Event Coordinator for 1763 and co-owner of Fantasies In Leather. Elegant is a member of The Tribe, CAPE, National Leather Association International, NLA-Dallas, MAST-Atlanta, Publicity and Fundraising Chair for SouthEast LeatherFest and the creator of the Atlanta Fetish Flea Market. Elegant had the honor of being selected as Southeast Bootblack 2005 at Together In Leather. She is a leather girl.

Bootblacking and leather care are Elegant’s passions. She considers them services of love and an art form in which to express herself. MASTER DAVID

A long-time Kentucky resident who became active in the lifestyle (with his 24/7 submissive, lofty) in 1997. David has shared his knowledge at numerous BDSM events including: Atlanta, Chicago, and South Florida. Master David has presented in the past on subjects ranging from BDSM and the Law, to D/s Relationships and his favorite subject, Rope Bondage.

David loves working with rope, especially traditional Japanese style, Shibari. He enjoys both the bondage and the artistic aspects of rope work and the connection it allows with a rope-loving submissive. He is also an accomplished photographer.

Throughout the years, David has encouraged many who are new to the scene and helped guide them to become comfortable within their lifestyle. In 2005, he became a member of the Board of KUFS, located in Lexington, KY. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Woodhull Freedom Foundation & Federation, an advocacy group for sexual freedom.

SHEVAH

Shevah is a native to Cincinnati, Ohio where she currently resides. She identifies herself as a 43-year-old submissive, but with a slave’s heart. After finding what her soul and spirit craved, shevah became aware of the need to share her experiences with others and to contribute to her community to make a difference.

Her ongoing agenda is to outreach neighboring groups to contribute to the combined endeavors of; education, mentorship, statewide safe calls, meets & greets, presentations & workshops, and fellowships. For 2004, shevah accepted a position on the Board of Directors for PEER Group of Cincinnati as their Event Director and PR counsel. They are a gateway group for those who take their first steps into this lifestyle and yearn for knowledge. She continues to help guide individuals in their search for understanding and find acceptance within their lifestyle communities.

Among other community appearances throughout the Midwest, shevah was a presenter at BMSL 9, Black Rose 17, Derby City Fetish Ball II, SINSations in Leather, and SmartFest, Anything For Love, and SELF.
